What this site does

This site has two parts. A public part presents the apartments and links to the booking service. A private part is the digital guest manual, which opens only with a printed QR code or the username and password given to guests staying in the apartment.

What we store

Content you see — apartment descriptions, manual texts, photos and videos — is published by the property owner and contains no personal data about visitors.

When someone types the guest username and password, we store the time of the attempt, the apartment concerned, whether it succeeded, and the IP address it came from. This exists only to slow down password guessing. Nothing else about your visit is recorded, and these records are deleted after 30 days.

If you unlock a manual, your browser keeps a signed access token in local storage for 30 days so you do not have to sign in again. It stays on your device; we cannot read it remotely. Your chosen language and light or dark theme are stored the same way.

What we do not do

No analytics, advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies are used. Nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

Pages that show the location include a map from OpenStreetMap. Loading that map means your browser contacts OpenStreetMap directly, so OpenStreetMap receives your IP address and browser details, as with any web request. OpenStreetMap is a separate controller with its own privacy policy.

Booking

Bookings are not made on this site. The booking link hands you over to an external service, which is a separate controller with its own privacy policy.

Hosting and processors

The site and its database are hosted on service providers acting as processors on the operator's instructions. Data is stored inside the EU.

Your rights

You may ask what data concerns you, and ask for it to be corrected or erased. Write to the contact address above. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority — in Finland, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
